If you like your sandwich to be HUGE and tasty, then Hartenkaas is the place for you!
This little shop in the 9 Streets prepares the most delicious and stuffed broodjes I've ever tasted in Amsterdam. It is mainly a take-away place with a couple of tables inside.
The two friendly Brazilian guys prepare right in front of you hot or cold sandwiches with the bread and stuffing of your choice. The menu actually includes about 80 different suggestions and each piece costs EUR 4.25.

The only negative thing is that they exchange money and prepare sandwiches with bare hands without using gloves. This could be a problem for the pickiest eaters.
But if you don't mind this, you will surely enjoy!
Tip: Their busiest hour is around 12.30 - 13:00 so try to go earlier or later in order to avoid waiting for 20 min or so.

Delicious Kebab in Amsterdam EUR 2.00
Leman Bakkerij is a tiny Doner shop in van Woustraat, that sells the most delicious Kebab in town!
Only EUR 2,00 per broodje, take away or eat in (only few seats available).
What really makes the difference is the bread they use: it's a homemade pita soft in the inside and crunchy in the outside.
They also sell Turkish Pizzas and some typical Turkish sweets (baklavas).
Extremely tasty!

Pizza: Pricey but ITALIAN
Unfortunately I haven't found an Italian pizzeria in Amsterdam with "normal" prices but at least I have found one that has a reason to be pricey.
This Pizzeria is Fuoco Vivo in De Clerqstraat.
Let me tell you that I know about good Pizza's and this would be considered delicious also in Italy.
A fully Italian staffed pizzeria with genuine ingredients and a wood-fired oven!
Prices are up, as said: the Marinara is EUR 8.00, Margherita is EUR 9.60 and prices go up until EUR 14.50 (excluding Pizzas of the Week or Pizzas of the Season which are EUR 16.00).
They serve only pizza, desserts and some antipasti.
If you are a pizza lover, you will spend this money with joy.

Best Apple Pie in Amsterdam, probably in the World!
If you like Apple Pies you MUST go to try this one and if you don't like Apple Pies you should give them another try and taste the pie from De Winkel!
In my life I have never eaten a better Apple Pie than this one!
De Winkel is a nice wooden bar in the Jordaan. It's located in the Noordermarkt square. If you go on a Saturday morning, you can also take a look at the Northern Market, which is really nice! De Winkel will be quite busy though on that day!
Please just go there and order an Apple Pie (with or without whipped cream) and you'll know what I mean.
A warning: the pie contains cinnamon. I don't usually like cinnamon but in this pie it doesn't feel odd at all!

Greek Traditional Pastries in Waterlooplein!
Salty and Sweet pastries from Thessaloniki, Greece in sale at the Waterlooplein Market!
This was the greatest discovery ever for a perfect Saturday brunch!
Really cheap pastries directly from Greece ( EUR 2,50!!!) filled with meat, feta cheese, spinach, sausage, cream etc.
They also prepare delicious Crepes (salty and sweet) and the typical greek FRAPPE'!
The shop is a stand which is part of the market. The location is near the entrance of the underground garage from the side of the metro station, some meters before the Bagels and Beans. It's located between a nuts seller and a loempia stand.
They also have some tables to sit and eat. IT'S A MUST TRY!!!
